The power inverters series IQ are able to transform a continuous voltage from accumulators (12 or 24 volts) into an alternate square wave voltage of 220 volts, or of 220 volts 5% (for those stabilized), on a normal load. They are particularly suitable for supplying transformers, incandescent bulbs, neon bulbs, cash registers, computers, printers, faxes and all equipment with SWITCH or RESISTIVO load. Protected by fuse at input and output, the inverters are also equipped with an acoustic signal that indicates flat batteries. N.B. When the inverter is used to supply BULBS OR NEON TUBES the POWER FACTOR CORRECTION CONDENSOR located inside the bulb must always be disconnected. When calculating the power of a neon tube without power factor correction condensor, remember to multiply the power by 1.6.
Example: neon tube of 32W x 1.6 = 51.2 VA.
CAUTION: THE INVERTER CANNOT BE CONNECTED TO REFRIGERATORS, COMPRESSORS AND CONDITIONERS IN GENERAL.
